Firmware Update Methods​

We regularly release new firmware to optimize performance and add new features.

The HA-SPK02 supports firmware update over Bluetooth. Its USB Type-C port is for charging only and does not provide USB data communication, so this model cannot be updated with a Windows .exe flashing tool over USB.

Latest firmware directory: HA-SPK02 firmware directory

The firmware directory lists the available version folders and the model changelog. For manual updates, open the latest version folder and download the official .ufw file for HA-SPK02.

Method 1: BLE OTA Update​

Use the Hearit.AI App when an update prompt is available. For manual Web OTA, download the official .ufw file from the HA-SPK02 firmware directory and use the Web OTA tool with a supported browser.

Required Items:

  • HA-SPK02 with at least 50% battery charge
  • Hearit.AI App connected to the device, or a Chrome/Edge/Opera browser with Bluetooth support
  • Official .ufw firmware file for HA-SPK02 only, downloaded from the HA-SPK02 firmware directory if a manual Web OTA update is required

Notes:

  • Do not use USB flashing tools, Windows .exe flashers, or the generic USB flashing guide for HA-SPK02
  • Make sure the firmware file is for HA-SPK02. Do not use a file for another model.
  • Keep the device close to your phone or computer during the update
  • Do not power off the device or close the app/browser during the update

Update with the Hearit.AI App​

  1. Power on HA-SPK02 and make sure it has sufficient battery
  2. Connect HA-SPK02 in the Hearit.AI App
  3. If a firmware update is available, follow the app prompt to start the update
  4. Keep the app open and wait for the update to complete
  5. The device will restart automatically after a successful update

Manual Web OTA with a Provided Firmware File​

  1. Download the latest official HA-SPK02 .ufw file from the HA-SPK02 firmware directory
  2. Open the BLE OTA Update Guide
  3. Visit https://hearit.ai/ota/ in a supported browser
  4. Connect to your HA-SPK02 from the browser Bluetooth device list
  5. Select the downloaded HA-SPK02 .ufw file
  6. Start the update and wait until it reaches 100%

Completion and Verification​

  • Power on the device, reconnect Bluetooth audio, and reconnect the Hearit.AI App
  • If the device starts normally and can reconnect, the firmware update is successful
  • If the update fails, charge the device, move it closer to the phone or computer, and try again
